IRATA
Gain globally recognized certification with our Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) training. IRATA’s strengths include an in-depth code of practices, highly structured training, and strong integration with many health and safety regulators worldwide. Our internationally-certfied instruction will give you the expereince needed to excel in any field.
IRATA LEVEL 1
The IRATA Level 1 certificate is the first step in a three-level structure. Candidates should expect a mentally and physically hard week as they come to grips with the wide range of access techniques required to pass the independent assessment on the final day.
As a qualified Level 1, the candidate will always be under the safety supervision of a Level 3
IRATA LEVEL 2
The IRATA Level 2 certificate is the second step in the IRATA certification scheme. Level 2 builds on the Level 1 course material and the candidate’s practical experience.
More in-depth rigging and rescue techniques, as well as a higher degree of proficiency on the ropes, consolidate the candidate’s experience and offer an introduction to the advanced techniques of Level 3.
IRATA LEVEL 3
The IRATA Level 3 certificate is the top level in the IRATA certification scheme. Level 3 builds on the candidate’s experience and prepares him to take on the roles of Team Leader, Safety Supervisor, Rescue Man, and Rigger.
Thus far, IRATA rope access has an impeccable safety record, largely due to the quality of Level 3s in the field. This course aims to maintain and build on these high standards.
IRATA ROPE ACCESS SAFETY SUPERVISOR (rass)
The IRATA RASS course is designed to increase the level of competence and understanding of Level 3 technicians who want a certified skillset in delivering safety information, leadership skills, risk assessment and emergency planning.
Successful candidates will obtain a RASS accreditation, differentiating themselves in the market, increasing the safety of their teams, their employability, earnings and standing in the industry.
SPRAT
Our Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) training provides in-depth instruction on essential safety and operational protocols. SPRAT is a USA-based certification widely throughout various Canadian industries. It’s a flexible association that allows technicians to upgrade easier than IRATA, providing access to higher wages in industries that accept SPRAT.
SPRAT LEVEL 2
An individual who is responsible for physically conducting rope access operations and/or safety evaluations of rope access operations.
This includes maintenance of associated access equipment and performing all Rope Access Lead Technician duties as assigned in the employer’s rope access work program.
